Carter is 2! {Maple Valley, Washington|Lifestyle Portrait Photographer}

My goodness how the time flies! I had the distinct pleasure of photographing one of  my best friend’s son, Carter. You may remember him from a previous post. He was that awesome kiddo with the moves like Jagger, e and piercing blue eyes like nobody’s business. When he’s not in his own environment, I think he’s quite shy but get him in his own and he is the life of the party! In fact, the party is wherever Carter is. I brought my own munckin along as the two enjoy each other’s company. They shared some raisins and goldfish crackers…YUM! I enjoyed getting a peek at how Carter’s face lights up when his mommy and daddy read to him. And he is so smart! I watched as he made silly faces at  the dogs staring at him through the sliding glass door, tails wagging and glazed looks on their faces. He was quite delighted with their interaction. Carter also showed me all his awesome toys and we played a little bit together which was my favorite part of the whole dern thing. After some family portraits in and around the home, we made our way to the park to take a few more photos, play a bit more and to even blow bubbles. I was totally a witness to the little guy making his way up a mountain! Okay, not really, but if you had seen the look on his face, well, actually you will. He was thrilled to say the least and his mama was proud, too. His words were, and I quote, “I did it!” I’m so honored to be in this little guy’s life. He is quite adorable and full of personality. Carter, thank you for spending some time with me. I hope you had a wonderful birthday and I know 3 is gonna come up real quick but don’t grow up too fast…us mamas don’t care too much for that. But, keep up the good work in just being the awesome little guy you are. HUGS!
