Okay guys and dolls, have I got a treat for you. Ya know, I don’t say things like “guys and dolls” often enough. Sorry about that little sidetrack. So I had been too sick to visit my dear friend Christine after she had her baby girl and I simply couldn’t risk making anyone in her home sick so I kept my distance until I removed myself from head cold quarantine. While I don’t have the photos that show how stylish this girl is, I can tell you about the adorable black and white damask printed hospital gown she ordered with pink piping. And did I mention her cute hospital socks that read on the bottom, “Ready, set, push,”? And of course she had gifts for visitors. One of my childhood favorites actually. Pink bubblegum flavored rock candy. How sweet in the literal sense, huh?
So…this baby…lemme tell you. She is one of the most beautiful babies I’ve ever seen. She looks like the most perfect porcelain doll with beautiful gray eyes. And her big brother Tyler, is such an awesome helper. He loves having a baby sister. I definitely look forward to seeing the two of them grow up together. What a precious time of life to be witness to. I’ve gotta say that I love this session so much. Lifestyle is one of my favorite things ever because its a matter of taking account of life as it happens rather than creating a moment. Don’t get me wrong, I love created moments, too, but as a mama, the things I miss most are the unplanned moments, and I reminisce while getting googly-eyed over pictures only a mom could love. But this…this is Lily. Beautiful and full of grace, just like mommy. Congratulations Christine! She is adorable. Thank you for sharing your little punkin with me. And as always, it was a pleasure to enjoy your company along with Tyler.
